whos got this turbo and what do you think of it. i am looking to upgrade from the evoIII 16g and dont want to go to high. is it worth it. should i just do a 20g or what. also what injector size do i need for either the g50 and the 20g thanks :dsm:

i recently purchased an SBR G50 internally gated, 38mm. I ordered not ported, not polished, just basic. I currently run 650's, but I will look into getting larger when I get DSMLink. I like the turbo so far. I just turned up boost to 19psi yesterday, however I will soon be turning it up to 22psi. I have an ex. leak before the turbo, in my turbo to manifold bolts, and Im running very rich, and thats currently causing me to have slower spool. I hit full spool at about 4400 RPM whereas it should be about 4000. I have no complaints about the turbo. Its very nice quality. It has the turbonetics "big" shaft which is better. It also has t-netics 1 year no hassle racing warrranty, so thats a plus. Only downfall is it didn't come w/ a polished cover like the RS49T, but I don't really care about that. I had no problems w/ the install, and I think its a great turbo. I would go 50 trim over 20G any day, because most people will never notice the small spool difference. And the 50 trim will support more HP and more top end. Its a good setup turbo. Garret 50 trim compressor wheel, and a T3 turbine wheel for quick spool and good top end. I think the lag, even at 4400 for me, is very streetable. Its now great for driving around town, in places that I would boost in my 14B, so Id definetly give it a go. Hope this helps. -Dan
