Since there is 4" of snow on the ground I havent had a chance to take it for a ride. When it warms up and the snow melts I'll take it out for a drive. At the start point on the dyno, 2500rpms, the dyno read 2psi LOL. Full boost came in right under 4800rpms, as you can see by the slope of the graph from there and up.

Its comming, No worries, maybe i should try on a stock head just to prove you wrong

But the "donkey punch" would be if you drop a valve in that kick ass motor your sporting. Don't chance it homey.

I just thought i would post these pictures of our FMIC, mainly to steal Nate dogg's post. No, actually in advance, I’ll apologize to Nate Dogg first off, but i don't feel like posting these in somebody else’s "my FMIC kit is better than yours because i know so.........................." Ok well here's thermographic imaging of the front mount proving how efficient our core is and yes, Nate 600+ whp pulls are done and the SBR FMIC, he just has slightly different end tanks on the inlet side. Here’s the pictures, tell your friends, tell our competitors there quoting numbers LOL, j/k, don’t rattle them like that on the phone, but nonetheless, read the numbers and carry on dudes! This post stems from everybody talking big about intercooling, but not presenting me with any numbers. Just some solid reference material for those of you thinking hard about intercooler facts and so on.

The car was equpped with a TDO6H 20G running at 24 psi on race fuel.

Night everybody,

Thats some badass images of the FMIC Im glad I sport one! Drop a line when the awd dyno is ready to go I need to spend some money!

To thank you SBR boys for visiting my FPCam thread, I will visit yours ;)

That .48 housing does just what I'd expect it to do above 6200RPM, Drop like a rock. Which is a shame on a sweet high flow CHRA like that GT35R. I've run .82 housing on the same CHRA and got the same spool up on 2.0 motors. What is up with that turbine housing you got there? Maybe you just need to straigten out the tune up?

If you are gonna get your panties in a wad about me speaking in your thread SBR, remember that it happened because you spoke out in mine.

I was going to say try upgrading to a 3.5" corvette gm maf. better flow?

Well if you like.. you can send us a FREE FP3065 and we can dyno it on the exact same car and set up and it wont make as much power as that one did due to the limits of the stock ecu... and gladly send the turbo back to you! dont be mad b/c your special cams are the EXACT same as the off the shelf Comp Cams.. we were just posting results we got with a bolt on turbo and stock ecu... Not really bashing anything!

thanks

Holy shit, you CAN read a dyno graph. Yes, we have found some of the limits of this housing, but we also had 5 degrees of timing advance above 6200rpms do to the stock ecu pulling a bunch of timing due to knock. I also said SMALL housing, meaning its not the only one ;) . Now, we could Curt Brown it an unplug the sensor and keep the power going, but I'm not that advantageous.

Maybe I should pull the COMP 101200s that are in there and throw in some FP2s, but i doubt there'd be a difference :D

I don't wear underwear. And i don't have a 35R. Guess i'll stay outta this one.

Lmao, nice numbers though, SBR.

Very impressive that it was tuned with an SAFC, as well. Let's not make this a vendor rivalry thread though, shall we? ;) Too much cool info to discuss...

>>EDIT: Thermal imaging pics are amazing as well--thank you for providing something substantive instead of childish "my FMIC is better than yours" rhetoric :thumb:

proving how efficient our core is

Do you have these cores custom made for you? I thought you used Garrett cores.

Maybe to 'prove' how efficient they are, you should compare the temperature drop to a competitors core. Thermographic pictures are nice eye candy and all, but random temperature numbers don't say much.

Yes, they are Garrett cores... all the picture says... is they WORK as advertised... just that simple...

Why not at least post the new dyno graph before we put the big turbo to it?

Here's the new dyno from last night, some more boost and small adjustments.
