Dam, almost makes me wanna pull off the 3065 on the 5 speed car and get another 35R. Man I really need to make time to come up there and spin those rollers now that this car is almost back together.

Great numbers guys. I would have really liked to have seen what the numbers look liked if you had spun it out to 9.5K like I do. Mike has us convinced to buy 1 67mm at this rate it may be 2 ;) . Anyone looking for a 3065 :cry:

BTW Nate is that ecu 100% stock not even chipped?

Nope..its a 90 ecu, no chip, bone stock!

From what I know about it.... the 3065 is a great turbo... same CHRA as our SBR GT14.... just a slightly larger turbine housing, etc.... the 35R is a fun turbo.... we will have the 67 MM turbo on here soon and post numbers as well.... and we will spin it a little higher just for you, rings are surely seated now :)

Dam it now I gotta go and buy a t3 manifold and a new turbo. Man they need to let you trade in turbos like cars. Guess there goes that new pistol I was gonna purchase. Keep up the good work guys.

Thankfully, Seth98ES offered to host the videos. I'm sending one vid to him now, unfortunatly the pulls were done at 1 am and the lighting wasnt the best. However, were doing a dyno demonstration tomorrow outdoors at a local expo, so I'll have some great outdoor shots to post tomorrow.

The motor has 12-13 dyno pulls on it.... not to mention STOCK ECU..... so we do not really want to go near the stock rev limiter right now until the ECU is changed out, and the motor is gone over.

Maybe to 'prove' how efficient they are, you should compare the temperature drop to a competitors core. Thermographic pictures are nice eye candy and all, but random temperature numbers don't say much.

Sorry, I was just trying to prove that more thought goes into a intercooler design at SBR than just, "well, lets weld this on here, and uh, uh, uh, pass me the tig, and uh, i'll tack this on, and walla we have an IC kit."

Thats what i was showing because i see all these kits on the market and it just makes me wonder how they get away with some of the things they do.

They are garrett cores as mike said.

Will you guys actually be running this setup at the track this year? Or is it just some Dyno fun? If I had a dyno I would be trying all sorts of things, so I understand if it won't see the track. I would just be interested to see what it would run with only the piggyback.

hey i know this has nothing to do with this thread... but a few years back you some of you guys held a meet in the VIP lot in south park i think where it was. i was wondering if you guys were goin to do somthing like that again i had a blast up there with you guys. later. :dsm:
 
We need to, maybe this summer we are thinking about a DSM's invade www.pittsburghracewaypark.com because they think it's hard to kick V8heads out... We always love traveling to the DSMCA meet every year, it's usually pretty kick ass!

Just got back from our dyno demonstration here in town, made a little bit more power since we had to showoff for the crowd.

639whp & 573 ftlbs

Cragger called it, just made the decision, Haltech is going in this week. :thumb:
