Okay I snapped both of the chassis bolts holding on the compression control arm. So the remaining shaft is going to have to be drilled out. Currently the car is still in the air with the wheel off. I'm a bit nervous to put the wheel back on and lower the car down. Will the lateral control arm, upper ball joint and tie rod end survive towing to the shop? I am open to suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

I would try a left-hand drill bit.

This same thing happened to me when I was working on the passenger side. I ruined the threads in the hole and ended up having to take it to the shop anyway, but only 1 bolt snapped and I was able to gingerly drive the car to the shop. I am not going to attempt to drill it out myself or drive the car at all. I'll simply have it towed to the shop. If the car can withstand the weight without the compression arm install.
