I was under my car yesterday going over the brake lines and found something disturbing and it could turn into a real problem.
There are 5 lines that run on the pass. side parallel to the so called subframe connector, as this connector is very weak it is dented and pushed different ways,
these brake and fuel lines are held on to this same connector with a small metal strap held on by a bolt.
There are 3 of these and 1 in front is all plastic, what happens is they get loose and fall out the guides rubbing against each other or against the floor pan, I check
3 other cars and they all had at least the fuel line in 1 bracket out of place, and had shinny spots, evidence of rubbing against other metal parts.

I would not hurt to check yours out.

And whats the best way to counyer act this reinsert them to there correct location or use and aftermarket retainer strap?

I was able to fix 2 of them by removing bolt and putting lines back in place, the other I had to use a spark plug wire separator, placed it against the original bracket and tie wrap them together, I will have to come up with another solution for the race car, but it does not look too hard.
