Safe RPM's on a 2g turbo

What is the safe RPM range on a 1997 eclipse turbo 4g63 with all stock parts? just wondering what the safe range is on a stock 4g63 7bolt. the only issue is it has a little over 150k miles on it.

I'd join a crowd that says don't rev it that high simply because turbo will die before the motor. Upgrade to something else. My first upgrade and still is, is a Garrett T28 turbo. Spools faster than t25 but again will be pushing max at about 4000 rpm , i Usually don't even get to redline when race, because you don't get any real gain in speed when you are above 5500rpm... I am not saying its not safe and you will blow something up, No, i drive my car HAAARD, and when i say hard, i mean i get 11 mpg and spend 60$ on gas every 4 days ... redline and pass is when you get to have problems, but again, no need for that, do some upgrades, do some tuning, only then you will enjoy doing tha hell you want and not worrying about breaking stuff...

I got mine at 150k miles. Its at ~172k now and sees the 5-7k RPM range almost every day, and multiple times when I do. 20 psi on a FP 68hta and she seems happy to me. 155 compression across the board. 100% stock engine internals.

I never ride long in that rpm range though, I get in and get out.

I've had my 1g for 6 months but I've kept my foot out of it for the most part, and waited for upgrades.

I run mine between 6300 and 7000 just about everytime I stop. that's why I bought this car to have fun driving it. I have a big 16g at 22psi my setup runs out of juice before 7k or I'd run it there every time. I run it right to the rev limiter when doing burnouts

If your car is stock, drive it like its stock. Anything else and youre just waisting time and putting wear and tear on shit for an easy thrill. Get a honda if you want to drive a stock car like an asshole.
