SAFC Problem. Threw a code?

so i hooked up my safc2 and it threw code p0100 which is the maf. i run a maft with 3 inch gm maf so do i need to change anything from the wiring diagram? if i dont what could have gone wrong. car runs good and i read all numbers on the monitor but af% and knock dont show. lmk, jeremy

i dont know if there is a diffference with the gm maf, but the first time i had bought an AFC, i managed on buying one that was broken, i tried re doing the wiring like 4 times, i thought i was incompetent but took it off and put one of my friends on and it just so happened mine was at fault, make sure yours works, also if u can open it up and make sure the plug is all the way in, sometimes when you yank on the wire it unplugs on the inside ( learned that the hard way too), but if your afc is messed up, it will definitely throw you a cel for maf

you needed to piggyback the afc onto the maft. the gm maf uses a different sensor.

i figuered it used a different sensor so how would i do a piggy back.

Is the MAFT Plug-In-Play? If so then you shouldnt have any problems, all you would need to do is hardwire the SAFC2 into the ECU harness...

Karman sensors wont let the SAFC2 show knock so dont worry about that...

i bought the safc used and the sensor was not set on karmen when i started the car. soooo thats why it probably threw the code. i went and unplugged the ecu plug and put it back in and bam the cel went off now with the safc set to karmen. thanks for the help guys, jeremy
