2G S90 - TPS voltage way off on install

Here is a link and info on how to check the TPS:

Closed TP Switch and TP Sensor Adjustment [2G]
1. Disconnect the connector of the TPS.
2. Connect ohm meter between terminals 3 and 4.
3. Insert a feeler gauge with thickness 0.45mm (.0177 in.) between the throttle stop and the throttle lever.
[Fold a piece of paper in half 4 times if you don't have the feeler -Ed.]
4. Loosen the TPS mounting bolts. Turn the TPS all the way counter
clockwise.
5. Check for continuity in this condition.
6. Slowly turn the TPS clockwise until the point where continuity and
non-continuity is found (pins 3 and 4).
7. Tighten the TPS mounting bolts.
8. Check the voltage between pins 2 and 4 of the TPS with the ignition
switch on, but the engine not started.
9. Standard value: 400 - 1000 mV
10. Remove the feeler gauge
 
I would check the installation again. Remove it and make sure it’s installed properly. Have you rebuilt the throttle body? The voltage indicates it’s halfway open. There’s clearly something wrong so I wouldn’t use the offset feature

It's an S90 throttle body
 
I am asking how come ECMlink is reading 2v instead of .63? How would I fix this? Do I have to offset the TPS settings in ECMlink?

First, what are you using as the TPS on the S90?
What does DSMLink read when you disconnect the TPS from the harness?
What does DSMLink read when the TPS is connected to the harness but disconnected from the TB?
 
Bend the tangs that touch the tps. I glued a very small plastic piece inside the tps housing where the tangs touch. When they developed the S90 they didn't take into accurate account the tps.
Okay, so there has to be more of a gap inside the TPS on the S90 tangs before movement? So they're not touching?
 
When I am driving it surges from 2-3k rpm when I push the pedal and bucks the car like a bronco and it doesn't want to accelerate unless I press the pedal at least 50-60% and then looks like I am trying to jet around town which sucks if a cop sees me.

It reads 5v when disconnected and 2.63v when connected and not attached to the TB.
 
Ok so where do I start with that? Sounds like a timely job?

Since this didn't seem to be a problem before (according to earlier logs you posted) I'd go back and revisit what you did to the TPS and any other wiring changes you've made since.

In my earlier comments, I said, out of nowhere my car started surging between 2-3k rpms and I would have to push the pedal at least 50% to go past 3k and then it would catch dramatically and car would take off like a jet until the next gear and repeats through all gears and in 5th on the freeway it won't go past 3k with out flooring the pedal and then I'm going faster than everyone and definitely a red flag to a chp. So I assumed it was a bad tps so I bought a new one and installed it and here we are with
The same problems after the install and that's why I created the post. The car literally bucks like a bronco when trying to accelerate between 2-3k rpms. What should I do? Where should I start?
 
I don't want you to do anything more than what you just did, just get a log while you do that. I suspect this is all related to your voltage problems with your TPS. While you're at it take some pictures of your TB and TPS wiring.

In fact you shouldn't be driving the car until you fix this.

It is built into the TPS on a 2G DSM. It tells the ECU when you are completely off of the gas pedal so it is important that it see the zero volts so it knows you are not touching the accelerator.
 
It's also something you can emulate in DSMLink. This is why I've asked you for what TPS you're using in post #7 and for a current log yesterday so I can see if it's a setup issue, a wiring issue, or something that broke.
