Rusted Return hard line.

Whats up all, need some help. I'm currently restoring this 92 AWD and I poured some gas in the tank and it ended up all over floor.

Got under it and discovered what looks like my return line has rusted out. I find it odd that putting 5 gal in pushed all the way through the return tho.

Whats a good fitting to cut the rust off and get a flared end back for the rubber hose? Is there a better way to repair?

Better off replacing the whole line it's probably rusted all through. I replaced mine.

Did you get a line off a junk car or make your own out of SS line?

I used fuel hose from the local plumbing store, i upgraded to 8an lines, feed and return . Cheap and works fine.

Yeah, I would just replace the stock return with SS AN lines to the back fuel sending unit. You can drill a hole in the unit and run a 6-10an bulkhead. https://www.amazon.com/Aluminum-Deg...=6an+90+degree+bulkhead&qid=1606762094&sr=8-1

Just cap off the rusted return line barb.
