Runs bad when cold

Hey i have 92 nt 1g and it runs like shit when cold. I mean im not pushing it but it has hard time climbing revs from 2k to 2.5k. And when it warms up it drives fine. Sometimes it pulls good when warm and sometimes it feels sluggish even when warm. Anyone had any experiences like that? Changed fuel filter, spark plugs, air filter, cleaned tb, timing belt, oil. Replacing spark wires next week. What did i miss?

Also lifter tick is loud asf when cold. Dissapears when warm then sometimes get back on even when warm. Weird stuff really inconsistent.

Lifter tick is normal on these cars. You cleaned the TB, but did you rebuild it? I bet the shaft seals are shot and you have a small vac leak, or the ISC is shot and needs to be replaced. Both things will really effect performance of the car, particularly idle when cold.

I did not rebuild it. It idles fine when cold around 1.5k and around 900 when warms up. Im not sure what isc is but i searched up on forums to cover the throttle body while engine is running for leaks so will try that later.
