It's hard to move the shifter when the car's been sitting overnight, especially if the ambient temp is near or below freezing. After about 10 minutes of city driving the shifting is back to normal (MUCH smoother).

The tranny, diff, and transfer case fluids only have about 500 miles on them, since being changed last fall. (standard OEM recommended oils) Would it make a noticable difference if I went to synthetic? Really been curious about going to this BG Syncroshift2....most garages around here haven't even HEARD of it before though.:toobad:

Well I know what you mean when the car itself is not warmed up and the shifting may seem kind of hard to shift. But like you said after about 10 mins (which is when your car should be warmed up), it will be smoother. Hope this helps.

From personal exerience Redline MT-90 has done me worlds of wonders.

My car had the same issues. I found out it was becuase i used lucas transmission fluid. Going synthetic should help, i've notice synthetics don't get as sludgy when cold.
