I'm not even sure if I am, but with my mods I've heard of other 2gnt's running rich and needed something to help regulate their system, like the Apexi AFC. Also, would running rich affect my mileage? It's been acting funny as of late, and I find myself having to stay in 5th (instead of 4th), just not to kill myself on gas (thats while city driving, not highway). I also have a vaccum leak somewhere I cant find for the life of me (even took it to mechanic and he said he cant find it, if it's there at all), but the diagnostics say there is one. Could that also be messing with my fuel consumption? I know it's screwin' with my idle.

Major Mods-
2.5" (mid-section) to 3.0" (rear-section) Cat-Back Exhaust
Short Ram Intake
Ignition Upgrades (coil,wires,plugs)
AF/X UDP
Adj. Cam Gears (set at 0)
Upgraded Clutch

The next two projects I'm undertaking is installing a Hi-Flow Cat along with my 60mm TB and P&P my Intake Manifold. Any advice? Or is this normal? :dsm:

Hey phil, i dunno man i am running rich, i do not have a a/f gauge w/ a wideband sensor but i know i am. Yes it does affect gas mileage.

What's up, these n/t cars run rich to begin with. nothing to worry about. but as far as the vac leak. you can get the chilton's manual from the parts store and it has diagrams in there that may help.

just one question. how and why are you in fifth gear in the city? you will kill you car doing that.

I know what you mean. "Cities" in South Florida are more like wannabe suburbs, but are called cities. Where I go I live to get to my job all you have to do is jump on this one three lane (highway-like) street and go west for 5-6 miles. You can average at 60mph and your fine, even with the cops because the stop-lights are so spread-out its just wide-open street. Miami/ Ft Lauderdale is the opposite of NY. You NEED a car to get everywhere. ;) :dsm: :talon: :laser:
