ok i have checked this entire site and have not yet found a remedy for my dsm i have codes for p0351 and p0352 misfire on cylinder 1 and 2 i am also running rich upon acceleration timing is spot on new cam and crank sensor anybody know whats wrong:banghead:

Those codes mean that your ignition coil are now functioning as they should so check those out first and could be causing a rich condition on acceleration, but also check your fuel pressure regulator for leaks.

whats the possibility of a bad plug wire because i have a new msd coil iridium plugs and obx wires?

There is always a possibility. It seems strange though that the problem occurs in cylinders 1 and 2, because the coil pack has two parts that drive cyls 1&4 and 2&3.

Anyways, check your coil pack with a multimeter. That msd coil is not that good as msd products are usually.

Also, how severe is this misfire? Pull the plug wires off one at a time and listen if the engine sound changes. If the change is minimal to none then you have confirmed that you do have a problem in that cylinder.

Obx wires are junk. I had them on one of my other cars and it would always miss put a new set on and it stoped. If you still have your stock wires put them back on and see what it does.

I agree. I replaced my obx's with a set of msd's along with the coil on my old 2ga esi. Also check plug gap...it's those simple things that you miss that make a car run bad. Just be careful when you check them with that iridium point....

the car pulls just fine after 1500 rpms but you can tell its a misfire weird enough the car is running extremely rich according to the a/f ratio gauge and ill try my oem plugs btw anyone know the gap measurement off hand i saw in other posts that it was 0.48-0.50

Obx wires are junk.

Correction, ALL OBX is junk.

Secondly I really wish you didn't waste to much money on iridium, coppers seem to by far work the best for our cars. As for your A/F Gauge, if its not a wide-band, than its far from accurate. And for MSD, they are normally a good brand, but my MSD coil pack lasted less than a year, also herd same reports from others.

so i checked my msd coil with my ohmeter and found that 1-4 are reading 11.4 ohms
and 2-3 are reading 11.8 ohms so next should i check my plug gap? do those readings fall under good oem spec:pray:
