Ok so I was headed to a car club meet and my car started pulling time. The wideband showed the car running lean. If you maintain the same speed after a second or two the car will go from 17:1 to 12:1 instantly and I get all my power back. This only happens when the car is warm. If you kill the car and let the computer reset the car will run fine for a little bit but then start the process all over again. If I drive the car at night when it is cooler the car does just fine and runs like it should. At first I thought I might have a sticking injector so I put a bottle of Lucas injector cleaner in and it did seem to help. But now the car is back to doing it again. When you start the car it will only pull 10hg for a few minutes but then instantly idle up and go to 18-20hg.

I am going to try and get a video of what it is doing so maybe someone can see if this has happened to them before.

Here is a video I just took of how the car acts. I do a short second gear pull and you can see the car jump from like 18:1 A/F down to 11:1.. Does anyone have an explanation for why this may be happening.

Something is wrong with the wiring or the sensor. Pull the sensor and wrap it in a cloth or shop towel sprayed with brake cleaner, the reading should go pretty rich. If so the sensor is fine, next do the open air recalibration. Check the wiring of the wb itself. If none of this is your problem then you have a serious issue on your hands running that lean (21).
What are you using to tune? Wb could be correct and your tune is screwed.

As asked above, is the output from the wideband running as a simulated narrow band or is it just for display? also it stays locked at 21.9 so much that i think the sensor is bad, when they go bad on me they usually start sticking to a lean or rich reading only varying to go way to the other end and back.... I cna't tell much from the video, it's so long i don't even know where i'm supposed to be watching for the issue except once your driving but without things logged like fuel trims, TPS< open loop or closed etc.. it's almost impossible to diagnose anything except to say the wideband is wrong

where does the info about pulling timing come from?? are there logs you can post for us? I have most OBD-II programs including the snap on and other major brands so i can analyze about all logs from variuse programs people use

Just get us more info and hopefully some data to look at and i'm sure we can help, one iomportant one is the answer about the narrow band simulation or signal from the wide band (is it running to ECU or just read only function)
