rs49t internal wastegate

i just got my rs49t and cant hold much more past 19 psi, i have a built bottom end and top end, how would i go about making this turbo build more boost, i heard about a stiffer spring for the wastegate but im not sure. thanks for the help.

You might have to adjust the rod on the actuator. I have ran as much as 24psi on mine so its doable.

I have a greddy profec bspec II ill try adjusting it, thanks. Butalso, is there such thing as a stiffer spring to hold more boost that i have heard of????

I dont think they make them for that type of actuator (the AGP one).

yeah i have the same problem on my RS49T... however i have a external dump on my o2 and it opens at 9 psi... but the greddy profect b spec 2 is set all the way up and i can only boost up to 17psi... idk.. i hope i can replace the spring in the wastegate/actuator and hopefully allow the friggen gate to stay closed longer.. idkkkkkkkkk

I just recently had mine installed and I couldn't hold over 17.5psi and so I tightened the actuator arm by a 1/4 turn (as instructed by AGP) and now it held 18.5.

Tomarrow.....or later today.....I will up the boost and see how much I can hold.

My tune is not ready for much more than 20 though.

Also I had to grind out the hole in the braket that the actuator arm went through because it
was rubbing due to the angle of the bracket. Anyone else had that problem?
