Rpm's jumping

Whenever I drive my car sometimes the rpms jump up and down. the car also has some trouble driving while its doing this. Im not sure what the problem is. I did have to soder the wire that connects the ecu to the trd mod because the wire broke. So if anyone has any ideas what could be causing the issues then please let me know so i can get this fixed as soon as possible. I dont want to put any of my new things on until the car is running correctly.

Will there can be many things. Radiator plays a role also, last time my radiator was low and my car started to jump rpm also. Around 750 rpm to 2500. Another problem was vaccum leaks around hoses going to the head. But since you said you touched the ecu, that is another story. Hope someone can help you solve the problem. Keep me posted, I want to know myself.

Well I'm not sure about that the fluids should be full. I'll check those tommorrow and as far as the wire it was not a problem until recently. Now that I think about it this prblems seems to be getting worse. I'll check to see if there are any vacuum leaks tomorrow

Does it normal do it when driving or at a stop? sounds like a vacuum leak

Will not not actually fluid levels, more like radiator itself. How high are the rpms jumping?

They jump any where from 2000 to 4000 just depending on the day it's different every time it does it. And if it's caused by a vaccum leak sounds line this is a pretty severe leak. Where should I check first?

After doing some more driving I have noticed that really only does it after you start from a stop light. And ot jumps in incroments of 500 rpms.

Well I figured out what the problem was. Whenever I had my ac fixed they moved my coil pack and it was loose and it arced but it was so close that you couldn't see that. But the prolem had been resolved thankfully.. I'll post picutres to show how I have the coil pack mounted. Maybe now I can focus on getting the spee stuff done
