Hello.
In my last trip to the track I found that the stock brake setup on my Tsi is not enough anymore, so I have been researching and looking to upgrade my brakes to an Evo VIII setup, After a few months I found a set of Calipers and pads.

Now I need rotors, any recommendations for a Daily driver? (not too expensive) and something that can be used 4 to 5 times a year on the drag strip?

Thanks a lot.

I use eBay rotors, they are cheap and work fine for everything I throw at them. I know many people have mixed feeling for things on eBay but they work for me!

Talk to the folks at girodisc. Evo folks seem to be happy with their one piece and two piece options. I haven't personally used either as I have OEM Evo rotors on my evo and the rear of my eclipse.

For street pads I would strongly recommend their magic brake pads. They have really good stopping power for a street pad and very very little dust. Some of the best street pads I've used.

The evo 8 rotors dont bolt up??

It probably didnt come with them

but thats a good point, OEM rotors for the evo will work just as well.

They didnt came with rotors just calipers and pads, and yes maybe the evo8 rotors are enough but the price compared to an aftermarket rotor is not that far one from the other. I been thinking in put the rear blank rotors and a nice slotted pair at the front, save some money and buy a matching pair later for the rear.

Definetly I need something that can hold stops from 130 mph, i dont say that you can't find good stuff on ebay but I need a good proof that they wont wrap or crack, I dont want to see baby Jesus after 7 passes at the drag strip.

Thanks for the opinions.

More info....please.

Yes please they look nice how they perform? Brand, prices???

Send a pm or something ")
