I recently got into DSM's and already I have a rod knock or believe I do so sorry if I ask a lot of questions I don't know much ... What should I do ? And where can I get it done near SoCal ? thank you for your time guys

). So what the op is saying may be true. The best thing you can do is STOP turning it on and pull the pan and check for clearance on the bearings. If you catch it early enough, you may be able to salvage the crank and rods without machine work needed.
