Would rod knock go away when the car warms up? I had a high idle issue....when cold it would idle at 2500 rpm and then level off to the normal 750. I took the FIAV and plugged it which fixed my idle. The reason I say this is I have noisy lifters anyways and now that the car doesn't idle so high to start with I think one of them is louder now cause it doesn't fill with oil as fast as it use to due to the car not idling as high cold. I pulled the plug wires to see if I could locate a possible rod but one cylinder I really couldn't tell if it knock went away or not. When the car warms up though the noise is gone. I was just wondering if a rod would go away like that. I need to just get new lifters anyway but I'm lazy I guess....had the motor apart so many times just waiting for push to come to shove.
