Can you give me a link to these I-beam Eagles? Never seen them. I've just seen the H-beams for ~$330. Thanks!

Ok there is a lot of bs going on in this thread. Here is the skinny on the a1000 and aluminum rods. The pump is a great bang for the buck. Had one in a car for over 3years with 0 problems. Have ran more then a dozen in costumers cars 0 problems. Also has fueled almost 1000hp. Now for the rods. Yes they do stretch well not stretch but expand. We have are own set of aluminum rods and when designing them you have to make them shorter cause they do get longer. As for the eagle rods they are a great bang for the buck rods. Ran them in over 50 motors with no problems. They will (READ) only handle about 700-750 awhp. Now keep in mind that’s mustang dyno numbers more like 900 for dynojet. We have snapped them clean in half in more then 1 motor at that power level (158mph+). No bearing failure. Also keep in mind its not just the hp but also the rpm. When pulling the piston down at 10500rpm+ there is crazy pressure on the rod. With box stock wiseco/ross/je/ etc. piston pins will also become a big problem(750+hp). Lots of guys these days are making big numbers but not backing it up with the mph. dyno numbers can be all over the place. We have seen 1000hp 4g’s go 154 at about 2700lbs and have seen a 720hp 4g at the same weight go 161mph.Mustang vers dynojet.
 
The only time i've seen the A1000 go to toast, is when it's had to pull fuel up hill before the pump gets it. ( meaning the pump was mounted higher than the fuel outlet ) We burned up 2 in one tuning session that way. After having the mechanic that was working on the car move the 3rd fuel pump down to at least level with the bottom feed sump that was welded into the stock tank it was fine, didn't whine and hasn't burned up almost a year later, we finished the tune and it's still on the road today, it's an early 90's CRX with a turbo 1.8 motor running 26 PSI on C16 daily.
