Rim size pics

I'm trying to decide between 16" and 17" aftermarket rims. I will be putting on struts/shocks that should lower the car 1-2 inches. Can some of you guys post pics of your rims this size. I want the fenderwells to not have too much empty space. Thanks in advance!

No need.
17s. 18 is too little sidewall for comfort. I speak from having 18x8.5 evox bbs with 245s currently

My last on 1g were 17x..7? 225s on them. I'd love to go to a 17x8 with a 235 instead but that's about $2k after all is said and done.

I do like the size on your 1g the most for sure.

My 1G has 17's for comparison. Plenty of sidewall for a comfortable ride and I think it looks good.

The coilovers ruins every bit of the actual ride quality but that's the game you play with them. Tempted to put the stock struts and Tein S-tech springs back on.


This is it with the stock struts and Tein S-techs. I think it's roughly a 1-2" drop.

Tires are 235/45R17's. In this picture they're super low on air, obviously.

Stock struts and aftermarket lowering springs. Tein S tech springs are a very mild drop compared to others.
