rich then lean.. help...

just installed mtx-l innovate wideband and on cold start it idle between 14.4-14.7 which is good, while driving it goes to rich 11.2-13.4 and when I let the gas off or while shifting it goes to lean 24.4. anybody knows whats going on?

It's seems ok did you calibrate properly. When coasting down or letting rpms drop its normal for wideband to go fully lean till I think 12-1300 rpm range it's the ecu cutting fuel to slow things down. If your seeing 11.2 full throttle or gettin into boost that's good you want things to richin up. And the idle seems ok even alittle more lean at idle isn't bad.

Well when you let off the gas it goes rich for a second then leans out becuase the injectors turn off till about 1,300-1,500 rpms.If that is what your talking about.

oh i see, it just worries me because it goes to full lean when i let the gas off or shifting, so I guess that"s normal.

This makes me feel beter also. I just installed my A/F guage and when I let off the throttle it goes all the way lean. But yea what I have been reading it is normal.

according to them it's normal, so that was a relief
