done nothing to the car, just started doing this? idles fine, rev's fine.. when driveing as soon as it hit 0psi - 7psi it's showing so lean it doesn't even show up. then once it build it 8psi - 15psi it pegs rich and the car takes off? when it runs lean it starts to buck a lil bit and has no power.. then WHAM goes rich and the car takes off.. i have done a leak test, changed fuel reg, spark plugs, wires, pcv.. and still cant find the problem... PLEASE HELP!

hey is that reading with a a/f gauge or a wideband because the a/f gauge doesnt read worth shit. There is a reason they call them the light shows, rainbow gauge, and starwars gauge. A widband is the only way to tell what your car is really doing.

I think the older members can help you out alittle bit more than me.

Well you said you did nothing to the car..

So how do you know its running lean 0-7 psi then 8-15psi its fine..

1. You should not be running 15psi if you have done nothing to the car because you wouldn't haev any way of turning up the boost.

2. If you are reading boost off of the stock gauge thats completly inacurate way and that is NOT how much boost you are actually running.

3. Obviously its going to pull harder from 8psi to 15psi then 0-7psi so You may just be exiperencing Turbo Lag.

Are you familer with how a turbo works and have exiperence with cars?

Not trying to be a dick but be more specific when you say you have done nothing to the car mod wise...

Were your new spark plugs gapped correctly? do your wires meet OEM specs?

Try to get a datalogger,DSMlink, or a WB A/F.......can't really trust the "A/F" gauges that are really nothing but a voltmeter.

The stock ECU has different fuel maps programmed into it for different RPM ranges. On my car, my (lightshow) A/F ratio is pegged lean under about 4-4.5K, then when I get up into the revs and a little more boost, it goes pretty rich. I dont think its anything to worry about as long as it isnt always lean. It will run lean at lower RPMs.
