Ok so I just installed a UEGO wideband and SAFC 2 into my car. Before I did any tuning I drove it for a while to see what a/f's I was getting. When I am idling my af gauge cycles from 14.7 to 16.0. What should It be at? When Im cruising along at half-throttle It ranges from 15.0 to 16.7 and when I let off the throttle it goes all the way past 17 and doesnt read anything. Is this normal? Now at WOT My gauge goes all the way to 10.0 or 10.2. What should It be running at? Now the last thing that seems to be happening is sometimes when im cruising along, my car will start spuddering and lose all power. When it did this I noticed the gauge read 17.8 and higher..... what is going on when this happens? I have to throw the car out of gear and let it idle for a few mins then it returns to normal. Any help on what I should set my ratios at with the SAFC would be great. And if Im correct 10 is rich and 17 is lean right?

Your WOT seems a little rich I run 11 to 1 boost...i found this beeing best for power in my case. Cruising i have my SAFC tuned to Stoich(14.7)...and when is start the car i wanna say its around 12 not positive its been down for a little bit. But ive noticed the same problem with mine..i will just be cruising and my A/F will be 14.7 and then all of a sudden it jumps to 16-17 and gets the power loss...i dk what thats from if anyone can help

Yes, the lower number refers to a rich condition and the higher number is lean.

IMO, your idle A/F ratio is ok. You can keep it right around 14.7 but running it leaner can save some gas and shouldn't hurt anything. Mine hovers around 15.0 +/- .5

Your light/part throttle numbers seem a bit lean and I would richen it up. Of course, there is only so much you can do for this with a SAFC.

During no throttle deceleration the ECU basically cuts off fuel delivery so it is normal to be extremely lean. My PLX reads up to 20 AFR. During deceleration the gauge just shows "lean".

WOT throttle is rich. Most guys recommend around 11.0 AFR.

I can't say what is causing the sputtering.

Do you have a datalogger?

No sadly I dont have a datalogger. But I am getting a #1 cylinder misfire. Maybe this has something to do with it. And its not from my plugs its ### I have an oil ring gasket leak, which im fixing this weekend. So I should leave my idle and cruise throttle alone? Just adjust my WOT?
