Hello, yesterday i started peeling out and took the car all the way to redline (stock motor) and my car just shut off. Any help would be appreciated.:dsm:

Any noises? Have you tried starting it again? Is your cel on? Please give a little more detail

Ok does the car make any effort to turn over at all or will the accesories and things come on? We need to figure out if its a starter or battery issue before you start worrying about it being the engine itself

It has a new battery and new alternator not even a month old. I really dont think its the starter because the car shutted off while i was peeling

Take the battery to walmart/autozone and have them test it for charge. Or swap it out if you have a spare.

What have you tried so far?

The battery is still good also the alternator i checked them already. We were thinking it might be the ecu also but the ecu is still ok

you need to give more info and be more specific. vague information isn't going to get you anywhere.

sooo, it's turning over. does it struggle to crank or does it crank fine but refuse to fire up?

check for blown fuses... i was sliding around in a dirt parkinglot one time and the fuse for the fuel pump blew maybe something similar happened to you?

the car does turn and cranks well also but im just not getting any spark at all. i do have the check engine light on but it dealing with the maf sensor.

Check the fusible link for the motor. It's a 20A fuse located in the fusebox that sits in the engne bay. Top row in the middle. That location is labeled "Engine" on the fusebox cover.

i was coming out of the car wash and just for the fun of it started peeling out and took it all the way to pass redline and the car just shut off and didnt turn after that. the fuses are ok

after i built my motor in my 95 a couple years ago, i was driving it normal through a traffic light and when i went to shift the car just shut off. kinda like yours. after alot of trouble shooting it turned out to be my crank position sensor. it cost me like 40 bucks to buy a new one from the local parts store. i had the same problem though, no spark or fuel. that sensor controls both of those. thats my guess. good luck

no i did not run out of gas, is that sensor picked up by the CEL because its not showing it

have you even read the code that is on there? you said it was for you MAF sensor but if you haven't checked it there may be more codes now. why did you burn it up past red line?? how far past and for how long?
I think if you do not start being more descriptive, this may get closed.
