Hello, yesterday i started peeling out and took the car all the way to redline (stock motor) and my car just shut off. Any help would be appreciated.:dsm:

have you even read the code that is on there? you said it was for you MAF sensor but if you haven't checked it there may be more codes now. why did you burn it up past red line?? how far past and for how long?
I think if you do not start being more descriptive, this may get closed.

Yes i have read the code and it deals with MAF sensor and doesnt show anything else. I peeled out all the way to about 7500-7800 rpms not even for more than 5 seconds. I checked the spark plugs and they are ok also the wires.

You said you're not getting any fuel or spark.

Lets start with how you know these things. Please elaborate on how you determined these to be true. It is time to end these 5 word posts of yours and help us help you. Please be detailed.

While you're waiting for a reply or acknowlegment of your testing methods you are about to post up for us, provided you have not done this already, you can use a multimeter to determine if you are indeed getting power to the fuel pump. Be aware of the placement of the fuse in your positive wire.

I know this things because the mechanic told me. He has checked all the fuses and they are ok. He has also checked the spark plugs and they are ok. It not getting fuel either because the car would atleast try to turn on. The timing belt it still there and it didnt skip or jump. Finally the Snap On computer told him and he showed me what check engine light was showing which was the MAF sensor that I had disconnected last time when the car was running.

OK, here is some pretty cool advice for you. There is a combination of words I like to use "it is". Pretty cool, right? Works way better when you pair those two up.

But that aside, I'm assuing your mechanic gave up on your car?
If that is the case you are now your car's mechanic. I can't really tell whats going on when you say the car does try to start but it doesn't fully make it. I can't say for sure that will tell you there is no fuel supply either.

Lets start at ground zero and forget what your mechanic has told you.
1. go check all your fuses, yourself.
some important ones you want to make sure you don't skip are the engine fuse inside the engine bay and the fuel pump inline fuse.
2. check to see if you're getting power to the fuel pump with a multimeter.
3. do a compression test.
-pull the engine fuse
-pull the clip for the injectors on the top right of the head
-pull the spark plug wires and hang them neatly away from the test area
-remove one spark plug at a time and test each cylinder starting from right to left (you facing the engine bay).
-floor the throttle while testing, make sure to crank at least 7 times but be aware of battery voltage drop.
-report back with your results.

This test is supposed to be done on a warm engine but since we don't have that optin we'll have to make due.

Hopefully we can have this resolved.
Please post back with your results.
