[RESOLVED] Where to get extra nuts and bolts from

So I just picked up my first dsm(92 talon TSI) and was going over it today and noticed a lot of nuts and bolts are missing. I bought it as a rolling chasis. So for you guys who build these where do you pick up these parts from. Is there a manual with part numbers that I can maybe pick up at a mitsubishi dealership or should I make good friends with my junkyards in the area. Thanks.

First, I recommend getting a good manual; I prefer the Chilton Manual or the Manual CD.

As for getting the bolts/nuts, I usually go to the local bolt & screw supply to pic up what I need. If it comes to the engine and such, I usually get in touch with SBR or DSMmotorsports.

Take a bucket, wrench, screwdriver and flashlight to the nearest junk yard. Grab everything that'll come loose.

Wait... so your DSM didn't come with a bucket full of extra bolts??

I've got no problem grabbing whatever nuts/bolts/etc I can get my hands on at a junkyard; they usually let them go for free too. You can never have too many.

i actually did buy one of these because i needed alot of bolts when i bought my car too, and it has come in handy, many times.

Get regular bolts from junk yard,but if you need special or stainless bolts, or ARP 12pt. I would recommend this place: totally stainless.com . Also they have these Nord Lock washers, which consist of 2 washers with teeth against each other and as you tighen them up washers lock into each other and do not get loose afterwards/supposedly/. It is pretty simple. For more info on these go to :
Nord-Lock - Maximum security for bolted joints - Home . They are like a $1 a piece/2washers/, but totally worth it. I recommend to put these in any important part of the car/CAS;turbo to manifold;manifolds to head;O2 housing;TB/, or any place else you want to.
