Im in the process of installing my ssac fmic and have a question. There is a vacuum line connected to the stock smic. Do I cut this off and plug it off?

Here's a pic. Both vacuum lines leat back through the passenger side firewall.

I followed the lines and the go to the rear wiper fluid reservoir of all places. When I tipped the stock smic over wiper fluid came out of the intercooler. Is there a possability that someone tried to make this a water sprayer for the intercooler?

I am going to go take a pic of mine since my splash shield is gone. I tore it out. LOL. I will post it up in a minute for you. Im am 99 percent sure i dont have that there.

To answer your question; No, there are no vacuum lines from the stock intercooler. I see three vacuum lines from that intercooler, which is not stock. Your intercooler has been modified for what seems to be some sort of water injection system. Please PM me about trading your piece for my stock SMIC. Please dont destroy it and just go yanking hoses.

Here you go. That must be a meth injection the person was trying to do, because mine doesnt have that. And mine is stock for the most part.

Haha, I need it for my backup car. Its maxing out the stock injectors and this could help me squeeze a little more boost out of the 14b in the summer. Esp since I have plenty of methanol on hand.

Upon closer inspection of the pictures it seems to be a fogger system, and not an injection system as previously posted. Are those lines going to drill points on the intercooler? If there arent holes tapped that those lines are running to then its not injection and its just passing water over the outside of the intercooler on demand of the winshield washer switch. Either way Id like to study this intercooler. PM me please.
