I just Installed my MAFT into my 91 AWD and Ran into a slight problem.....
NO signal from the MAF, Switched the MAFT and its working.....

I Had Extended the harness to my MAFT, And had the two plugs taped off and divided so not to get mixed up after I cut off the Harness for each, the Gm & DSM plug....
I Was half way thu Fishing the wires thu the firewall, * 9 Conductor Car Audio Wire *
when I had a customer and had to walk away.....

Well One Of our Installers, Just Helping me out went ahead and fished it thu for me while I was away, the only PROBLEM is he Untaped the wires I had Divided up
I just did what looked like it was right to me and wired it up from that...

On the GM harness Three wires. Yellow/Pink/Black
Yellow is MAF signal, Pink Power 12 Volt, Black Ground.....This is correct? all three next to each other...

And MITSU harness is SIMULAR with a Pink/Black, Both also 12 Volt and ground,
I dont think I have anything wrong and if BOTH Pinks are just 12 volt power should not make any difference IMO but unsure. and want to put it back to EXACTLY how it comes without plugs cut......I cant find a clear enough picture Online to give me what i need and the Manual does not Tell you what Pins in the board To use...
It may be possible that Solder connections are causing the problem but I DOUBT it since I do it for a living and VERY good at it....
MAFT also flashed green light at startup but does not FLICKER like instructions said at WOT, and it is running hella rich, DataLogger shows NO MAF as the problems point to also..

If someone could open up there MAFT and Post a Pic that would help me alot just make sure its easy to tell what goes to what plug....

I am running the :2.01 Version....

You do this for a living but you didnt know that you could just hardwire it right the ECU.....

What exactly is your job?

I do car audio sales/install for a living, So Solder just about every day.....
And I guess thinking about it I could Just cut the Stock MAF plug off and go strait to the ECU....But also if I ever run into any problems I cant go back to a stock setup, * this allowed me to make it up to Import Face off yesterday* Without Tearing into the install, I plan on just running the MAFT just to clean up the engine bay, and tuning with a APEXI NEO, Since it has a graphical display and the MAFT does not...... sorry Im not a pro at tuning this is my first time into this world, Just a stupid mishap, not because my skill just random dumb shit Out of my control.......

You dont have to cut any plugs if you dont want to, you just hardwire it in right by the ECU using the correct pins.

And sauder is spelled solder.

Yes It came with Plugs and should be plug n PLay, But I extended the harness so I can mount the MAFT box inside the center console for easy tuning.....

I Extended the harness and may have swapped around one or two of the wire in the harnesses, Again NOT my fault but if i had a wire diagram for the MAFT and there pin layout i can double check my wiring is correct....

I have compared it to a 1st generation MAFT and it IS correct, But unsure if my version is different....

It still does not work, It may just be Faulty unit because my friends MAFT works fine in my car.....
