Go out to car, go to the back of the car, get on hands and knees, look underneath the rear for the rear drive lines and rear differential.

Hmmm, walk to the rear of your car look underneath to see if it has a rear end(differential). If it does then most likely your AWD if your talking about a DSM. If your still in doubt then check your vin. Or do a carfax.

You can check the vin,on 1g's the fifth spot should be a "T" if awd, an "S" if fwd.

1992 - look at the VIN. It will begin as a "4E3CT .. with the "T" meaning AWD. We FWD owners will have the "S" in that position.
