how do i know if i have a 6bolt or 7 bolt with out motor tear-down

No, the late 1g models also came with a 7 bolt.

An easy way is to check for your cas.
Post a pic for easy determination.

Not always it could have a swapped head. The oil pan is different from a 6bolt, ill look for a pic

oh now it works couldnt post b4 thats why i started a new one and thats what it look like it said

Yeah the oil pans are different. The 7 bolt engines pans actually dip down a bit where it meets the block. The 6 bolt pans have no dip at all. This is on the pulley side of the engine.
