I may be getting back into the dsm world, but this time for a toy and not a dd(thankgod). Ive been looking hard for a 3000gt though so its not for sure, but this car kind of caught my eye. I found the guys profile and I was dissapointed because he has zero posts. Usually you can find out alot about the car's history by someones post. Any info would be great.

I dunno why people cringe when "Auto/Automatic" is mentioned. My family and my families around me race at a local drag strip and I'd say everything we've ever used was an automatic, weather it was a powerglide, th350, or sometimes a 700r4. (yes all chevy...) Anyway I'm building my 2g with an automatic and I can assure you it will be just fine

I say to each his own, I drive a stick for the fun factor bc I can shift as soft as I want but when it's time to play I can shift high and hard! But sometimes I wish I just had an auto to cruise with

I have nothing against Auto's....I know they can be made fast; but there's nothing like the feeling of banging gears.

I think sticks impress the ladies more, too....I recall the last girl I took for a ride in a quick AWD 5-speed saying "I think I just had an orgasm" after a really hard launch.

+1 ..after owning two sticks i'll never consider buying an auto. yea its better in stop and go traffic and rush hour but when you hit a lonely highway with your girlfriend in the other seat there's nothin better

If you only knew... This auto has the Translab KM-175-77 Shift Kit installed. Sooo... barking gears is no problem here.

I converted the white 2ga to the 2gb faschia and the 1g had a torn unit when I purchased it. So I replaced that one as well. And when it was time for maintenance and then eventual upgrades, paint was never a huge priority.
