So I replace the water pump on my 95 Eclipse GS a few days ago which fix the over heating issue, and now just recently the Coolant light came on. I'm not sure if the symbol that looks like the radiator means its low in coolant. I check both the radiator and the reservoirs tank are full with coolant [No leaks either]. Could it be that I have a bad Coolant level sensor or is this a result of air pocket trap somewhere in the system. At this point I'm not sure how to get the light to turn off or determine what could be the cause of the issue. Any suggestion will help.

Over time the sensors gum up with the crap that settles out of the coolant.
Assuming the wires aren't frayed and shorting you man need to pull the bottle and clean it out until the float switch starts working again.

I may try your suggestion...

Im sure your not as stupid as me :coy: but could you have confused the low wiper fluid light for the low coolant one? :|

I took care of this issue. I had a bad Coolant level sensor. I also took care of the air lock in my coolant system. Open the radiator cap and let the can run for 20mins until the air burbs out. Once down I refill the coolant back up. Issue resolved.
