2g Tail light staying on

Started out as my car battery being dead and someone having to jump start the battery after work. Then when I got home and turned off the car, I notice the tail lights were still on which probably leaded to my car dieing in the first place. I checked all fuses and they all seem to be ok. I noticed that when I press the brakes, the tail lights don't brighten up indicating I'm stepping on the brakes nor when I use the turn signal does it turn on either at the front or back.

Anyone experience this before and has a solution?

Yeah mine was the switch down at the brake pedal. Had to take it off and adjust it and never had that problem again. I hope this helps

did you see if the brake light switch at the pedal is stuck on?

Your lucky. My tail lights wont even work. Ive been trying to find the short forever with no luck. I cant drive my car at night ):

That was it! I just had to adjust the switch out more and that fixed the problem. Thank you everyone.
