Hey people i hope you can help me out or give me ideas.
I have a 91 Laser turbo FWD all stock. I was driving today and my check engin light came on, and my car started to idle rough. I gave it a little gas and it went off. Next thing i know the light came back on, and my car started to to make a brief clicking noise from behind the radio "The ECU area.":hmm: Next thing i know my car died.:( I tryed to start it but nothing. I waited a few minites and it started right up. Any ideas?

Yes. sounds just like my problem i had i sent it off and had it rebuild and it done just fine. On mine i had to wait till the computer clicked before i could turn my car back on.

Sorry, i ment i had to send my ECU off to get rebuilt. Good luck.

Its gonna be the biggest cap on your ecu that's leaking it leaks onto one of the vertical chips just had this problem a week ago

What could've cause the ecu to leak? I ask because today my car just wont start, I can also hear the noises in the ecu area, and also arching noises in the battery area, my lights, windows, basically my accesories doesn't work when my key is in acc. or on position. This symptoms happened after I broke one of the terminal on my new battery(bought a new one again). I already change my plugs, starter, and my CAS.

got the problem fixed. It was just a loose ground wire in the ecu harness. Thanks for all the help.:)
