evoIII 16g..plus some regular mods.

Just put in new fuel pump(255) , all new fluids, and new clutch. Gave it some gas getting onto the highway and the CEL (check engine light) came on. (Stock ecu)

Any ideas what this could be? i hope its not an o2 on the way out.

i know its vague , sorry.

car is running fine.

is there anyway to pull the code on a 1g yourself(like the key turning method)?

Hook up a test light, or buzzer into the diagnostic, or get yourself a logger. Which is a good idea anyway.

Palm for cheap, free software. Good to go.

I think vfaq has the instructions to pull the codes.
