I have had my car sitting for a while and has not seen much driving time in the past month and is starting to act funny. I was warming it up the other day just trying maintain the vehicle and i noticed that the car did not want to idle. When i looked down i saw that the check engine light was on. So i grab my pocket logger and it spit out a number. Code 12? I have been trying to find a list of what all the codes mean for a 1g but i dont have a lot of time to sit on a comp. Could someone help me out with a link to what the codes mean or just what code 12 is? THanks in advance

i have looked on www.vfaq.com i dont know if i am looking in the wrong place but could you send a direct link to where the 1g check engine light codes are listed. Thanks

12 is a MAF code. Check your logger to see if you are registering any airflow. Also make sure everything is plugged in right. Make sure you are reading at least 25Hz at idle.

Come on this is such and easy question. No one knows where the list of check engine codes is for a 1g?

Didnt see that post. Thanks 95blackGsTurbo!! Finally someone who knows what they are talkin about.

If it's so easy you should have found it yourself.

Bumping is not allowed here as disguised as people try to make them.
