Don't forget to use dieletric grease on the o-ring. I also recommend using some Permatex Ultra Black RTV silicone sealant to plug up the BISS hole (after you're happy with the idle setting) to prevent any boost leaks. I don't recommend buying the BISS cap. Waste of money IMHO.

Hey guys
so i lost my biss screw today and was wondering if any1 knows what size the bolt is, I found the screw on machv.com but I want it fixed today. I searched and couldnt find anything on what size bolt it is. thanks
mike

Base Idle Set Screw, it's on the throttle body.

Hmm, not sure what the part number is. I could measure it for you if that was your question. When i get home later.

BTW: I bought my throttle body rebuild from that "throttlebodys.com" guy Steve, and it came with a plastic BISS in it, and it broke into peices when I used a screw driver on it. Good thing my old one fit and I had it.

Edit: My post makes no sense now, but I was the second post. The first post asked what a BISS was.

I don't think you should try using a regular bolt here. Order a new BISS or pick one up from a junkyard. A #5 oring from your local hardware store is the correct size for sealing the shank of the BISS to the TB bore. Search the forum for the part number. Anyone with CAPS can get it. The part number might also be listed on VFAQ Site - Visual Frequently Answered Questions in their BISS adjustment article. Then you can go to your local Mitsu dealership and order it by part number.

EDIT: From vfaq.com:

Mitsu part # is MD614948 and it's called, "Adjusting Screw, Throttle Body". You need a #5 O-ring (3/8x1/4x1/16, available at most hardware stores)
