I have a gsx 2gen and i just need either a stock map or a map with a big16g ,550cc injectors ,255 pump intake, exhaust. Car has been in the shop with a rebuilt 6 bolt and a new tranny and i just wanna get it out of there cause its just a headache. (its for dsmlink)

i have it downloaded on my computer and i basically have no idea how to work it. I'm looking for just a base to break my car in then tune it off that instead of starting from scratch

You usually don't ask other people for maps. DSMlink isn't like a standalone EMS. You can do all of this yourself!

First, go here and download the Users Guide and read through it a few times to familiarize yourself with all the functions of the program and their location inside the software:
DSMLink - Downloads

Make sure you do this:

Read this as it will help you log the appropriate values for the below tutorials:

Start off here and follow all the steps and instructions to calibrate your MAS (same info on both sites - look at both though):

This site will also show you how to adjust your fuel settings to accommodate for your 550's:

Use this to adjust your TPS:

And then to safely go further, I would look into getting a wideband sensor at the least. You can also get a MAP sensor to further aid you in tuning.

And if you don't feel safe changing settings, then take it to your local tuner and have them do it. It really isn't hard to do and is safe. Just make small adjustments until you get the hang of it and understand how your changes will affect your car. Just post back up if you have any more questions.
