[RESOLVED] 2G 95 Power Antenna Swap Need Wiring Diagram

I have a 95 Gs I'm building for my Dad and I'm am changing out the oem mast antenna for a oem power antenna. The problem is that the power contector isn't made into the 95 wiring. The antenna has five wires going into it and I need to know what they are for. I have a old factory service manual but since it is older it does even list a power antenna. I have done a search and having come up with anything. So any help you can give me would be greatly apprecaited. Can someone maybe email me the wiring for the radio and power antenna diagrams. Thanks

P.S these are the colors of the wires on the antenna
Black w/ yellow stripe
White w/ black stripe
Red
Red w/ green stripe
Blue w/ black stripe

Anybody? I got the same problem

New antenna I got has only 3 wires BLACK (ground I guess) RED (+) and GREEN (-) How am I suppose to connect it?

See if you can use this diagram. Pulled it from the 1995 Mitsu Service manual.

BLACK to either ground or pin 6 (black) of motor antenna connector.
RED to pin 2 (black/white) of antenna motor connector.
GREEN to pin 4 (white/black) of antenna motor connector.

Does this mount up to a car without a power antenna? There looks to be two mounting areas for this.

That word document wire diagram doesn't really help at all. It is too small.

Where should I get the wires from to power the antenna?

Here's some pic of the surrounding area of where I installed my power antenna. I am thinking that I can draw a power source from the surrounding harness. What do you guys think? I am just worried about the remote wire (when its going to go up). I know I can just tap red to red, black to black but i want to know what is going to be my remote wire for this. I know stock the power antenna goes up when you turn the key to ACC, I'd like mine to do that as well. Thanks for any suggestions.

ok here is the color codes for power antennas this will help a lot of people:

eclipse 96-up

Black w/ yellow stripe --- IGNITION

White w/ black stripe----- (-) GROUND

Red ------------------------- (+) B

Red w/ green stripe ------- ACCESORIES

Blue w/ black stripe -------- ANTENNA

Hey its tomorrow already! sunny and hot as hell. i just spent 2 hrs sweating like b___h to realize the stupid power antenna i have didn't have the teeth belt or work at all, the motor works if you feed it direct + and -. i think the little box is bad, so i ended up putting everything back together including my non anything antenna

P.S. i never realized how many screws i used for my system until now!

i did the power antenna on my car too. I had to install a switch though, so the antenna would rise down when playing cds.

Did you just send a power wire and remote wire from the headunit harness? I think that's what I am gonna do.

Thank you guys for clearing up which wires are what within the stock harness. Did the person find out where the three wires need to be spliced to? This tread really never ended with a solution. I started up a thread similar to this with pictures of the aftermarket antenna motor with the three wires.
