Replacing narrowband with wideband wiring questions

I'm finally getting around to replacing my crappy narrowband with my LC1 wideband, just a couple of questions.

1. Do I just simply cut the narrowband gauge from the wires, tape them up, set them aside and forget that I ever had a narrowband?
2. Assuming the NB was set up properly, Are there any wires I may be able to reuse from the narrowband for the wideband such as power, ground and so on?

The LC1 is being set up with its own bung, no logging and non ecmlink. Thanks

Got some splatter in the threads but shouldn't be hard to clean..

I messed up the threads on the o2 sensor forcing it in.. Some of the splatter wouldn't come off. Should have tapped it

Usually when I weld in bungs (I did like 16 on my roof rack of the jeep to put eye hooks for tie downs) I put a bolt in it one thread... well, I put the first one in it all the way one time, then snapped the head off trying to remove because the heat siezed it.

I should have done that .. I didn't think about spatter normally because I'm good at adjusting wire speed, but I've never welding a bung to an exhaust before. I had the wire speed too high
