Replacing Gauge on FPR?

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

The gauge on my FPR is broken and while I was at the auto store today I saw some air pressure gauge that looks like it will fit right in. Can any of you think of any reason why that won't work?

I'd get a fuel pressure gauge, because some of the components have to be chemically compatible with fuel. If it starts to leak because something doesn't like being exposed to gasoline, you could end up with a fire.
