I've been searching for answers but can't really find what I need. I need someone to confirm or correct me about what I think I need from reading.

So far I've read the 1g hard lines are 10/1.0mm thread pitch and 3/16 line. Is this correct and will I need anything else

Yes that is correct for tube and fitting sizes. You will likely need some unions if you are using pre-made tubing lengths. How much of them and what specific lines are you replacing?

you may want a bender too, but most of the lines nowadays you can bend by hand pretty successfully.

Might as well get the Copper-Nickel line while your at it. It's a few bucks more expensive, but it's much more corrosion resistant. Plus, it's even easier to bend. Most part stores carry it in the pre-made lenghts, and in 25' rolls. It flares super easy too.

I had to replace one of my rear lines because it bursted the one day after I got to work.I ended up coming up about 4 inches short of a 25 foot poly armor line replacing both of my rear brake lines since they both looked pretty bad. I just needed to rent a double flaring tool and bought a couple flare unions because I read everywhere that compression fittings were illegal, I wanted safe and long lasting not risky.
