Replacement Turbo tech

ok Have a 1995 Talon TSI AWD, Turbo Blew, had stock t25 on it. Took inlet tube off compressor side oil just poured out turbo. Any ideas for replacement unit? on tight budget.

Small 16G should work fine and is cheap. If you're so tight on budget that you cannot provide supporting mods for turbo upgrades you better stick to a turbo closer to stock size.

Is the car modded currently? Is the turbo re buildable?

Best possible solution would be to contact Justin, he can rebuild it for you if you can afford to have the downtime, you did not specify if it was your daily driver or not but as far as cost effectiveness contact @JusMX141

on a 2g he would need to make some more alterations for a 16g or even a 14b.

i say rebuild (or have JusMX41, or pj91gsx if he is still doing rebuilds, do it.) or if you do want to go bigger go t28 maybe.

Most will need some kind of alteration. If he can't even afford to buy a j-pipe and an oil/water line kit, he's better off rebuilding his T25...

Normally by the time a T25 is blown to the point of puking oil, there's no saving it. Best to replace it with another known-working unit, or upgrade.
