So I am about to do a clutch install and I was curious how many of you either recommend replacing the clutch fork and pivot ball or have done it when you did your last clutch? Currently my clutch fork has 115k miles on it if that makes any difference.

If your changing it with an ACT2100, you can stick with the old fork and pivot ball. Just shim the old pivot ball with a washer. But if your going ACT2600 or higher, get them changed cause theres a bigger chance that it will break on you.

I would say just replace it while your at it. There is a good chance you will be fine without replacing it, but you can get a new OEM clutch fork and pivot ball for $56 and I don't think that is very much extra to pay to be sure that you wont have to drop your transmission again later on down the road to fix it. I just bought mine from DSMotorsports, same place you had the picture link from.

just did mine and it did wonders for shifting. I say its well worth the money to do it while the tranny is out. Ive herd that Mitsu recomends the fork and ball to be replaced at ~60k...but i could be worng. Either way, its pretty cheap to do if your already in there and will save you the headache down the road

Hi there..done with these man? hope the installation of your Clutch Pivot turned out good..The link provided by our one buddy out there was good.It really helped me fix mine.

Anything over stock clutch set up you should replace the fork and pivot ball.
After doing my clutch (oem replacement) and putting everything back together and wondering why my clutch pedal had no pressure until 2 inches off the floor and to find out it was the clutch fork worn to hell and hitting the bell housing. It's worth it.
