Having a bi*** of a time pulling it out of my destroyed 7 bolt.

Need to get it into my 6 bolt so I can stuff the tranny on.

Any advise on how to remove the dowel?

Thanks so much. Looking to get the tranny on and get the motor in today!

Cool. Basically I was using a pair of pliers with a rag wrapped around it so I didn't scuff it up.

Looks like I'll need to get something with a little more "oopmth" to get it pulled out.

Vice grip it out and get new ones. You might need to use a screwdriver and hammer to dent it in a bit.

+1. Mine always get out of round when I try to pull them out and are a pain to put in after that. The price of new ones is so cheap that there is not reason not to get them(unless you are in a super hurry).

Hmm...well if the Mitsu dealer has one....screw the monkeying around, I'll just smack a new one into my 6 bolt :)
