Mine is on the drivers side in front of the tire. (you can see it if you look through the driver sid air duct. I go the bottle and hose from advance auto. I recommend some higher quality hose though. The clear is cool, and pretty tuff, but it kinks easily. Her is a pick, just follow the hose.

I have a question. Do you drive it in the rain/snow/sleet? Any problems with it getting extreamly dirty or soaked in water? I thought you could flood the engine this way.

I made a cover for the rear and bottom of where the air filter is so not much water hits it. I made it out of aluminum that I picked up for cheap. I still need to cut some slits in the rear so it lets air pass threw, but it works great so far. And I don't really drive much in the rain. The body kit I have on my car has a hole in the front bumper cover right where the dejon intake pipe takes the air filter so it is a nice ram air system, better to have it there than in the engine compartment taking in hot air.

Here is the best picture I could find of my intake setup. Its an older picture so don't be to harsh. I did a little labeling for you also to help out.

It's down :(. You had it up not too long ago.

Need hosting or something? Willing to make me one ;)?

So I was working on my car not to long ago, new intercooler, oil change and radiator fluid change... in the process I lost my rad overflow tank... now when I drive on the freeway, it seems like my car is running a bit on the hot side and my car is leaking a bit of fluid when hot (from the lack of having a overflow tank)... So I know that I need to get one, I found a few STAINLESS RADIATOR OVERFLOW TANKs on ebay but I dont know if thats a good idea... anyone know of a GOOD overflow tank on ebay? I need one asap or if anyone knows where I can buy a stock one that will work too..... thanks guys!!!:dsm:

First off, running no overflow you are sucking air into your cooling system when its cold, you could go to advanced auto or autozone and they sell universal ones that are perfect, or you could use a gatorade bottle if you still have the cap and hose from the overflow, it will fit right on.

Who has relocated their overflow reservoir for a cleaner looking engine bay? I was thinking under the battery tray when I take the charcoal canister out. LMK

Here is my JMfab overflow with custom bracket.....I love it....also made a custom SS line....lemme kno what yall think

Brining this back to life.

what am I suppose to do with the low coolant sensor on the bottom? Will the Light stay on?

thanks for bringing this back up PIMking.. i will be getting the SSAC kit again.. errrr the VR Speed kit.. round 2 on the very same car that originally had the kit.. yea dont ask why.. :p

anyways the first time around I put it where the stock smic use to be.. however it was a bit too ghetto for me and not very convenient, i really want to see if i can bend that stock bracket in anyway so it could still be placed in the original location (2g) but it would sit higher because the ic pipe is below it..

but doing this might make it too high where the hood won't close (i believe this will be the issue on why no one has done it before)

i really rather have it up somewhere on the engine bay but there isn't much choice. I don't want to replace it because I too have the low coolant sensor in there and will give a cluster dummy light if not hooked up. I know the later year 2gs no longer have this sensor in the overflow bottle, but I know the 95s do for sure, both of mine do.

I saw a few guys mounting coolant overflow in the stock SMIC location, does this create much of a problem since its significantly lower than the rad cap/stock overflow tank location? Seems like it would be difficult for the engine to pull fluid back FROM the overflow tank.

Thanks
