Rebuilding transmission. Parts avalible?

Hello,

I'm in the process of rebuilding my transmission in my 92 Laser RS. The 1st gear along with the hub and sleeve need to be replaced. I can't find these parts anywhere.

Is this even available in the aftermarket? I've been told no. And they have been discontinued at the dealership.

Does anybody know where I can find these parts? I wish I could have just sent the trans to Sheptrans but i'm poor and trying to get my car up and running on the cheap. Thanks for any help!

Search the classifieds and junkyards. If no luck, then let the god of all DSM trannies take care of that.

Thanks! They have the hub and slider that I need but I don't think they have the 1st gear assembly that i'm looking for.
