REBUILD TIME!! Help, lol

Alright guys, my oil filter backed off the car and dumped the oil out when I was running the car hard and bent a rod, I've never done a rebuild, I do know what to do and will have help. What are things I need to look out for, and suggestions y'all have while I'm doing the rebuild I will take pics as I go so u can see my progress I will be starting tear down next week. Any help would be awesome.

buy a felpro gasket set and cometic head gasket ..also check for stress cracks in ## oil pump case i recommend changing it they're decently priced and worth it

For now just to get it back running. I do however want more hp I'm just on a budget at the moment with school aand all and this is my daily.

I say just do a stock rebuild with some evo 8 rods and pistons and arp headstuds with a cosmetic headgasket that what am about to do and while your in the do the balance shaft delete and do the oil mod 1 and 2

Unless you have both the block and head milled perfect, stay away from a MLS HG, run a Fle-Pro or OE composite.. both proven to 400 HP

My budget as far as right now is about a grand, I do want more hp, but like I said I'm not rushing it because I'm more focused on getting it back up and running, eventually I plan to do more, stroker kit, new intake manifold even bigger turbo, things of that nature, but I'm just trying to stay focused on school right now and budget properly.

Also quick question, just because I slung a rod does that neccesarily mean I have to get the block bored because of scaring?
