rebuild questions

My current motor has cw so I just pulled the six bolt from my parts car.

So I have a few questions. Can I reuse my bs eliminator kit?

I will be using my je pistons and eagle rods in the rebuild. My current motor is bored .30 over. I read that the piston rings are what makes the bore size; is that correct? If so does that mean I can bore my new motor to .20 over and use the same pistons and just get the different rings?

Im not going to use my oil squiters since I have after market pistons and rods. What is the best way to block them? Could I Have the machine shop take care of that.

Ok so I found out I can reuse my bs kit.
I cant find anything on the proper way of getting rid of the oil squriters could someone point me in the right direction?

Talk to your machinist about the oil squirters. BUT why would you want to be rid of them? Many tuners pay good money to have them installed and you are going to get rid of them? Do your after-market rods have oil squirters themselves? The rings do not make the bore. Every piston type has a certain amount of size difference between piston size and size of the cylinder to allow for expansion of metals; since iron and aluminum expand at different rates. You need to find out how much difference everyone has been using with the JE's, then tell your machinist that the bore needs to be X more than the pistons, where X is that amount of tolerance between piston and cylinder. I would recommend buying new pistons, but you can re-use your old ones.
